FLUKE Who resided with a granddaughter, Mrs. Ruth Ainsworth of 1518 9th St., died at 6.30 p.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted June 9, after an extended illness. He was born at Woodbury Dec. 31, 1867, a son of Oliver and Mary Ann (Mentzer) Fluke, and married Mary A. Rampling, who died in 1920. Mr. Fluke was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Artisans. He had resided in Altoona for the past 70 years and retired in 1938 as a gang foreman of car cleaners for the Pennsylvania Railroad after 48 years of service. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. May Cunningham, at home, and Mrs. Clara Yeager of the city; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister, William of Ontario, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Newman of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the N.A. Stevens Mortuary after 7 p.m. today. FLUKE - Services for Howard S. Fluke of 1518 9th St., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Stevens Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Carl A. Greenawald. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
