All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ WILLIAM "BILL" FOCHT William "Bill" Focht, age 63, of Clarksfield [OH], died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Willard Healthcare Center, after a lengthy illness. Bill was born November 24, 1942 in Altoona, PA, son of the late Gerald Calvin and Edna (Garber) Focht. He graduated in 1961 from Bellwood-Antis High School in Pennsylvania. He had lived in the Clarksfield area since the early 1960's. He worked at Fisher's Meats in Norwalk, Norwalk Vault and Concrete; the former NBC, Rinks and Cooks Department Stores in Norwalk; and for 15 years he was a custodian for New London Schools, both Fitchville and New London Elementary. He was a Clarksfield Township Trustee for 20 years. Bill was a member of the Clarksfield Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he was an active member, a member of the Clarksfield RAT Patrol, and served on the Erie Huron Rural Water Authority Board. He played Santa Claus for numerous people and organizations. Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Virginia (Wolcott) Focht; two daughters and sons in law, Julie (Robert) Weaver and Janice (Brian) Wicks all of Clarksfield; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two brothers, Richard (Irene) Focht and James (Karen) Focht all of Tipton, PA. Friends may call 6 - 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. Pastor Russ Gaskill will officiate and burial will follow in the Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for expenses. Tyrone Daily Herald, October 30, 2006
