All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ FOGLE Joseph Fogle, who was a former resident of Altoona, but for the past three years had lived in East Pittsburgh, died at the Braddock General hospital of influenza, Sunday morning at 7:40 o'clock. He seemed in his usual health until Saturday afternoon when at 4 o'clock he was suddenly stricken with the influenza and pneumonia rapidly developing, death soon ensued. He was aged 48 years. Previous to his removal to East Pittsburgh, he was employed for thirteen years by Jacob Schell of this city as a drayman, and was well known here. The mother, Mrs. Josephine Spilfogle of 805 Nineteenth avenue and a brother and sister, William and Mrs. J. A. Sigrist, both of this city, survive. The remains were brought to this city and can be viewed at the Stevens mortuary. Private funeral services will be conducted there this afternoon at 4 o'clock; interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
