FOIX.

  John Foix, an Italian employed in the quarries at Wertz, died on 
Monday evening at 9.30 o'clock of pneumonia, following an attack of 
influenza, at the Altoona hospital.  He was brought to the institution 
at 5.45 o'clock last evening.  He was aged 35 and unmarried.  The body 
was taken to Williamsburg yesterday morning where interment will be 
made today.
