FORD Aged about 60, who formerly resided in Altoona and Duncansville, died Wednesday evening in St. John's hospital, Los Angeles, Calif., after several months' illness. He was born in Johnstown and came to Altoona from Seward as a representative of the International Correspondence school, later conducting a confectionery store in Duncansville. He moved to Los Angeles eight years ago, conducting a store there. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Ford; two sons, Irvin, Jr., and Allan; a granddaughter, and his mother, Mrs. Dillie Ford, all of Los Angeles, and several brothers and sisters. Interment will be made in Los Angeles. Word of the death was received in a telegram by Miss Alberta M. Treese of Hollidaysburg. Altoona Mirror, Friday Evening, August 20, 1948
