She had been discharged from Altoona Hospital earlier in the day. She was born Sept. 23, 1898, in Altoona, a daughter of James and Flora E. (Shope) Day, and was thrice married, first to Sherman L. Myers, who died Nov. 29, 1925; secondly to William Gochnour, who died March 1, 1946, and then to James H. Fornwalt, who died July 3, 1963. Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Roy Myers, pastor of Aughwick Church of the Brethren, Mount Union, and Kenneth E. of Sandusky, Ohio; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a brother, Paul E. of Altoona. Mrs. Fornwalt was a member of the Twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren and the Helping Hand Sunday School class and the Ladies Aid Quilting Society of the church. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and in the Twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
