All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ WILLIAM FORTENBAUGH, One of the city's oldest and most respected citizens, died at his home, 1823 Thirteenth avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3:40 o'clock, from dropsy. Mr. Fortenbaugh was born in York county in August, 1832. His wife preceded him to the grave and he is survived by six children - four sons and two daughters. The latter - Bessie and Eva - lived with their father. Mr. Fortenbaugh was a member of the Chosen Friends. Funeral services will be held at the house at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and will be conducted by the Rev. Horace Lincoln Jacobs, of the First Methodist church.
