John Andrew Foster, son of James and Julia Foster, deceased, and a resident of Cottage, Huntingdon county, Pa., died at 10.30 p.m., Dec. 16, of pneumonia, aged 35 years. He was born and lived in that vicinity all his life. He was a prominent and prosperous farmer and was a man of sterling worth to the community in which he lived. His sudden death has cast a gloom over the entire Shavers Creek valley where he had many friends. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: J. W. of Altoona, W. R. of Harrisburg, Joseph J., Wilber H. and Mrs. R. C. Johnston of Cottage and Mrs. S. H. Lightner of Neffs Mills.
