Saturday last at 11:50 o’clock, Mrs. Nancy Annie Foust, the beloved wife of George Foust, of Park avenue and Fifth street, passed peacefully away into the eternal world. The passing of this good wife and mother has left an aching void in the home that can never be filled. Seven years ago, Mrs. Foust became afflicted with rheumatism and since that time she had been more or less of an invalid. About seven weeks ago her lungs and stomach became affected and she gradually grew weaker until the end came at the above mentioned time. During her years of suffering she bore her pain with true christian fortitude and passed away rejoicing in the faith that had been hers from girlhood days. Mrs. Foust was a devoted member of the First Methodist Episcopal church and of the Home department of the Sunday school. When in health and strength she found much pleasure in attending divine services and working in the Master’s vineyard. Mrs. Nancy Annie Foust was a daughter of Philip (deceased) and Mrs. Maria Harpster. She was born at Frankstown, Huntingdon county, January 16, 1869. For a number of years she resided at the place of her birth and at Pennsylvania Furnace, coming to Tyrone about sixteen years ago and resided here ever since. She was united in marriage to George Foust at Pine Grove Mills, Pa., October 14, 1890.
