FOWLER Of Fostoria, died at 7.40 o'clock Saturday evening at the Altoona hospital after five weeks illness. He was born on Nov. 6, 1861 in Minnesota, a son of Samuel and Caroline Fowler and in 1887 married Miss Mary A. Finley, who preceded him in death. He had resided in Bellwood and Fostoria for the past forty-five years. Surviving ate one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Charles Bennett of Wilkinsburg, Clyde of Pitcairn and Wilbur of Bellwood; seven grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Canfield and Mrs. Elinore Bliss of Chardon, O. Mr. Fowler was a member of the Bellwood Methodist church and a graduate of Iron city college of Pittsburgh. Friends are being received at the Fuoss mortuary in Bellwood from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 o'clock toady and Tuesday until the funeral. Altoona Mirror, May 5, 1941, Pg. 18
