Born before the nineteenth century began, she had nearly completed ninety-four years of life when the final summons came. Old age was the cause of her death. Since 1851 she had been a resident of Sinking Valley, previously having lived at Tyrone Forges. Her husband died about 1855. To mourn their loss are left six children who are: Mrs. C. R. Burley and Mrs. Luther Fleck, of Tyrone; Misses Sarah and Mary and Reuben Fox, of Sinking Valley; and John Fox of Altoona. She was a consistent and earnest member of the Lutheran church. Rev. A. J. Bean, her pastor, will conduct the funeral services at the brick church, Sinking Valley, tomorrow morning at ten o'clock. The Tyrone Daily Herald, Thursday, January 8, 1891
