DEATHS OF A DAY

MRS. SARAH FOX.

Mrs. Sarah Fox, widow of Henry Fox, and an aged and very estimable
resident of the Eleventh ward, died at 8 o'clock last evening at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. S. C. Aurandt, 612 Oak avenue, of diseases
incident to old age.  She had been in failing health for the past
year.  Deceased's maiden name was Myers and she was born at Liverpool,
Perry county, October 28, 1828, being at the time of death aged 86
years, 7 months and 17 days.  Many years ago she was married to Henry
Fox, who preceded her to the grave on July 1, 1898.  She had resided
many years in the vicinity of Williamsburg and Yellow Springs and
later in Frankstown from which place she came to this city two years
ago to take up her residence with her daughter.  She was a devout
Christian woman, kindly and benevolent and was held in the highest
esteem by those who shared her acquaintance.  She is survived by these
children:  Mrs. S. C. Aurandt, Mrs. James A. Aurandt and F. S. Fox, of
this city, and Mrs. W. E. Dean and H. I. Fox, of Williamsburg.  The
funeral arrangements have not been completed and will be announced
later.

FUNERAL NOTICES.

The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Fox will take place from the home of her
daughter, Mrs. S. C. Aurandt, 612 Oak avenue, on Thursday morning.
The cortege will leave the house at 10 o'clock and take the 10:35
o'clock train for Geeseytown where services will be conducted in the
Lutheran church there by Rev. D. P. Drawbaugh, pastor of the Fourth
Lutheran church.  Interment will follow in Frankstown cemetery.
