MRS. EDNA PEARL FRANCIS

Died at her home, 2420 Fifth avenue, at 9 p.m. yesterday.  She was the 
wife of Thomas Francis.  She was born at Millville, Altoona, May 18, 
1909, the daughter of Frank and Annie (Wicker) McConnell.  Surviving, 
in addition to her husband, are one daughter, Marian Jane at home; 
these brothers and sisters: Roy McConnell of Altoona, Elmer McConnell 
of Eldorado, Mrs. Carey Hunter of Altoona, Mrs. Elsie Anderson of 
Altoona, Mrs. Mabel McDonald of Eldorado, Raymond of Eldorado and Crist 
of Juniata, and the father.  She was a member of the Mount Carmel 
Catholic church.  Friends will be received at the home after 7 p.m. 
today.
