GIUSEPPE G. FRANCO

Of 419 Eighth avenue, died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon at 5.10 
o'clock in the Altoona hospital.  Mr. Franco was born Sept. 30, 1884 in 
Pontecorvo, Italy, the son of Serafino and Anna (Roscio) Franco.  His 
wife, Mrs. Assunta Franco, died Feb. 27, 1949.  He was employed as a 
machinist helper in the Juniata shops, having just recently retired.  
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Albert DeBernardis of Altoona; one 
sister, Miss Rose Franco of Italy and an adopted brother, Alfred Dolsi 
of Italy.  He was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic church and the 
Retired Men's association.  Friends will be received at the home.
