Frank, for many years an employe of the Altoona Iron company, died at 12:30 yesterday afternoon at his home, 2822 Fourth avenue, of a complication of diseases, after an illness of two years. Mr. Frank was born in Glessen, Prussia, May 12, 1845, and came to this country fifty-nine years ago. He settled in Hollidaysburg, later removing to Altoona, where he had resided for forty-six years. He was married on April 12, 1866, to Miss Margaret Wertzberger, who survives, with the following children: Mrs. Frank Rigel, of 1223 Fourth avenue; Edward, at home, and Mrs. Florian Ergler of 2816 Fourth avenue. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Joseph Barroner, of Hollidaysburg. He was a puddler for the Altoona Iron company and more recently was employed as the plant watchman. He was a member of St. Mary's German Catholic church, the Fourteen Aid society of St. Mary's and the Altoona Iron company relief. The funeral will be held on Monday morning, with mass at St. Mary's at 9 o'clock. Interment following in the church cemetery. June 21, 1922 clipping
