BENJAMIN W. FRANKLIN

Of 406 Howard avenue, died unexpectedly at 12.45 o'clock Friday
afternoon.  He was born in Newport, Perry county, Jan. 17, 1874, a son
of Thomas Jefferson and Mary Ann (Wagner) Franklin.  Surviving are his
wife, Mrs. Eva Rebecca Franklin; three daughters, Miss Reba and Miss
Geraldine, at home, and Mrs. Helen MacDonald, Altoona, two brothers,
Harry W. and William W., and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Feist, all of
Altoona.  He was a retired baker and former owner of the Bon Ton
bakery, Altoona.  Mr. Franklin was a member of the Fourth Lutheran
church.  Interment was made this afternoon.
