ROBERT BRITTON LYNN FRANTZ 

  Robert Britton Lynn Frantz, age 62, of 1106 Cameron Avenue, Tyrone, 
died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at 5:31 a.m. at the 
Altoona Hospital.
  He was born December 7, 1940 in Tyrone, the son of Ralph R. and 
Tressa Mae Watters Frantz. On May 9, 2002, he was married to Carol Fee 
who survives.
  He is also survived by three sons, Robert C. of Tyrone, Briton of 
Seattle, WA, and Brady of Louisville, KY, a brother Richard L. of 
Westfield Center, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother Ralph C.
  Mr. Frantz attended Christ United Methodist Church. He retired in 
July 2001 from the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences of 
Pennsylvania State University. He was a 1960 graduate of Tyrone High 
School. He was a veteran of service with the U.S. Army. He had been a 
member of the Tyrone Gardner Guards Drum and Bugle Corps.
  Funeral service for Mr. Frantz will be Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 11 
a.m. at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Dennis 
Reedy officiating. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may 
call at the funeral home on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 
10-11 a.m.
