Frederick, a well known resident of town, died yesterday afternoon at 4.40 o'clock at his home, 617 South Juniata street, of dropsy of the heart, having been ill since Jan. 22. Deceased was a son of John B. and Sarah Kauffman Frederick, the latter deceased, and was born at Henrietta, Sept. 3, 1864, being 54 years of age. He was in the employ of the P.R.R. for a number of years as a trackman but of latter years was a janitor at the Eastbound and Westbound humps in the local freight classifications yards. He had lived at Hollidaysburg for the past --een years. His wife, Catherine Rin-- Frederick and these children: Mrs. --?-- Zimmers of Sinking Valley, Mrs. --?-- Faust of Altoona, Elsie and George at home; also by the following brothers and sisters: Adam of North Woodbury and a step brother, Homer Frederick of Henrietta, Mrs. Elizabeth Whistle of Woodbury township and Mrs. Susan Shelley of Waynesboro. Mr. Frederick was a member of St. John's Reformed church at Northfield. Short services will be held at his late home at 4 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and the body will be taken on the 9 o'clock train on Monday morning to Curryville, where services will be held at the Cross Roads church upon arrival, and interment made in the cemetery there.
