Freeman. A telegram reached Tyrone yesterday morning conveying the sad tidings of the death of Harry E. Freeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Freeman, of Lincoln avenue. This occurred at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning in the Mercy hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and was caused by albuminaria. Notwithstanding the fact that his death was almost momentarily expected the news is a severe blow to his wide circle of friends and the sorrow of the community is most profound. Harry was one of Tyrone's sterling young men with a personality that made him widely esteemed and admired. A warm personal friendship existed between him and his former pastor, Rev. J. C. Day, of the First Presbyterian church and it was during the latter part of Rev. Mr. Day's ministry here that Harry was converted and his life thereafter was indeed, a beautiful example of Christian consistency. The many friends with whom he corresponded prize highly his letters telling of the great comfort and joy experienced in leading a Christian life, the fact of which lessens in a measure the bitter pangs of death. Harry Earl Freeman was born in this place on June 27, 1888. After leaving school he filled a clerkship in the office of Supervisor J. D. Lovell and on account of ill health resigned on June 30, 1912, and left for the far west. After spending some time at the various points of interest he secured a position as timekeeper for one of the large mining industries at Mohrland, Utah, and later held the important position of storekeeper. His narrations of his traveling experiences were extremely interesting. Buoyant and cheerful he left home several weeks ago for another tour, after which he expected to resume his former occupation, but sickness overtook him while visiting his uncle, E. L. Carpenter in Salt Lake City, Utah, and at the hour above named death claimed a manly young man, beloved by all who knew him. Would space permit much could be said of his exceptional qualities. Besides his parents he leaves two brothers and one sister: Charles, James C. and Mrs. Harold Biddle, all of this place. The body will be brought home for interment. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. TYRONE The body of the late Harry Freeman arrived in Tyrone yesterday from Salt Lake City, Utah, and was taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Freeman, on Lincoln avenue, where funeral services will be held this afternoon, in charge of Rev. H. W. Bieber, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Interment in Grand View cemetery.
