GERTRUDE E. FRIDAY 

  Gertrude E. Friday, 84, a resident of Epworth Manor since 1996 and 
formerly of Vail, Tyrone RD3, died Saturday, April 19, 2003 at 4:50 
a.m. at the Manor.
  She was born May 1, 1918 in Bellefonte, a daughter of Paul and 
Blanche (Blair) Nearhoof. She was married to Frederick L. Friday in 
Tyrone on November 10, 1943. He died May 23, 1979.
  Surviving are two daughters, Lorine Howard and husband Ron of 
Hanover, Annette Cushion and husband Joseph of RD# Tyrone, two sons, 
Darryl C. and wife Mary Ann of Westminster, Paul K. of Glendale, Az., 
eight grandchildren and two nephews, Barry and Blair Stanley of Tyrone. 
She was preceded in death by a sister Thelma.
  Mrs. Friday was a member of the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church. 
She was a 1935 graduate of Tyrone High School and had worked a number 
of years at F&F Dry Cleaners, Tyrone.
  Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. 
Burial will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be received at the 
Feller Memorial Home tonight, from 6-9 p.m.
