LOUISE C. FRIEDLI 

Of 1207 1st Ave., died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1969, in
Altoona Hospital, where she was admitted Monday.  She was born Sept.
12, 1886, in Wurtemburg, Germany, a daughter of Jacob and Christine
(Buck) Kachele, and Aug. 9, 1906, in St. James Lutheran Church married
Arnold Friedli, who died June 28, 1966.  Surviving are four daughters,
Mrs. Helen Henderson, Mrs. Gertrude Scheeler and Mrs. Bertha Duffey of
Altoona, and Mrs. Florence Watts of Canton, Ohio, eight grandchildren,
17 great-grandchildren, a brother, Reinhold of Altoona and a sister,
Mrs. Emilie Kullen, in Germany.  Mrs. Friedli was a member of St.
James Lutheran Church, charter member of the Swiss Rifle Club Ladies
Auxiliary and member of the Louisa Frauen.  Friends will be received
in the Gilden Barton Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
