It is not known precisely when and where he died as we are informed that when discovered he was lying stiff and cold in the snow on the other side of Summittville, the sleigh having upset and thrown him out. An inquest was held on the remains and a verdict retuned to the effect that the deceased came to his death by reason of an affection of the heart.
