Fry, of 2310 Seventh avenue, died at the Altoona hospital at 6:40 o'clock last evening, of an affliction of the bowels. He had been ill for the past two weeks and had been admitted to the institution last Wednesday. He was born at Sandy Ridge, Clearfield county, February 13, 1880, and had been a resident of Altoona for the past five years, being employed in the Fourteenth street blacksmith shop of the Pennsy company. He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Fry, with whom he made his home, and by the following brother and sisters: Philip Benner Fry, Mrs. Anna Kriger, Mrs. Flora Lanner, Mrs. Grace Justice and Mrs. Harry Justice, all of this city, and Mrs. Mary Young, of Beech Creek. He was a member of the Pennsylvania railroad relief and the Methodist Episcopal church. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. The funeral of John Fry will be held with services at the late home, 2310 Seventh avenue, at 10 o'clock Friday morning, in charge of the Rev. Vaughn T.
