MARY CATHERINE FUNK

  Services for Mary Catherine Funk who died yesterday at 1:55 a.m. at
the home of her step-father, Homer W. Washbarger, Columbia apartments,
Eighth avenue and Seventh street will be held at the First Methodist
church of Juniata Saturday at 10 a.m.  The body will be taken,
following the services, to Ryde where interment will be made.
  She was 17 and was a daughter of John and Nellie Funk, both deceased
and was born in Juniata where she resided for the greater part of her
life, for many years with Mrs. Hugh Riley of Fifth avenue.  She had
been ill for years, suffering with diabetes.  Surviving are Earl Funk
of Philadelphia, a brother, Jesse, a half-brother, Helen and Dorothy
Harshbarger of Ryde, half sisters and her step-father with whom she
lived.
