  Mrs. Mary Funk, mother of Mrs. Anna Smith and grandmother of Mrs. 
Ella Black of Tyrone, died at her home near Blair Furnace at 2 o'clock 
this morning, from disease incident to old age.  Had she lived until 
the 22d of next month she would have been 90 years old.  Her husband, 
Henry Funk, died in 1883.  She was a lifelong member of the German 
Baptist church.  She was the mother of twelve children, six of whom are 
living.  The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon.  
Services at the late home of deceased and interment at Asbury cemetery.
