Furrer of 601 Fourth avenue, died at 5 o'clock this morning after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona on Dec. 1, 1920, a daughter of Edward A. and Rose (Senz) Furrer, and last month received her diploma from the St. Agnes School of Nursing, Philadelphia, although unable to attend the exercises because of illness. Better known as Betty, she was graduated from the Altoona High school in 1938. Surviving are her father, one brother, Eugene, in the armed forces in Australia, and one sister, Shirley Ann, at home. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. Miss Furrer reposes at the family home. FURRER - Funeral services for Miss Rose Elizabeth Furrer of 601 Fourth avenue will be held Tuesday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
