Martinsburg, June 10. - Mrs. Emma J. Furry died Sunday morning at 2:50 o'clock at her home one half mile east of Martinsburg. She was born two miles south of Martinsburg February 27, 1864 and was married October 9, 1883 to Elder J. E. Furry. Mrs. Furry was a member of the Brethren church from her childhood days. She is survived by one son, Samuel E. Furry, of Martinsburg, another son died five years ago. The following brothers and sisters also survive: W. Roy Layman, Martinsburg, Homer Layman, Pittsburg, Mrs. Minnie Allen and Mrs. Annie Tipton of Martinsburg. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Lutheran church at Martinsburg, conducted by Rev. J. E. Hall assisted by Rev. E. E. Byers and Rev. W. W. Frey.
