The Altoona tribune. (Altoona, Pa.), May 05, 1859
Died at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. Sutter, in West Altoona, on the morning
of the 17th ultimo, Mr. John Grove, aged 70 years. The deceased was among the early
settlers of Sinking Valley. He raised a large and respectable family, several of
whom now reside in this place; Roman Catholic religious view…
