Funeral Arrangements. At 3.45 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Mary Gansz, wife of Henry Gansz and mother of Night Patrolman Nicholas Gansz, died at her home at 1511 Eleventh avenue, of a complication of diseases. She had been ailing for four months during which time she bore her sufferings patiently. The deceased was a daughter of Nicholas and Margaret Marks, deceased, and was born at Springfield Mines, Blair county, June 27, 1850. She had been a resident of this city nearly all her life having accompanied her parents here when 6 years old. She was married to Henry Gensz in this city on September 21, 1871, and, besides her husband, is survived by these children: Nicholas, Henry and Anna, at home, and Mrs. George Keil, of this city. She is also survived by one brother, J. H. Marks, in the west. Mrs. Gansz was a member of St. James' German Lutheran church, and her death, which was unexpected, will be received with sorrow and regret by a large number of friends. The funeral will take place Friday afternoon, services to be conducted in St. James's church at 2 o'clock; interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Morning Tribune, Thursday, October 26, 1899
