Mrs. Margaret Garland.

  Mrs. Margaret Garland, widow of the late Henry Garland, died on 
Monday morning at the home of her son, Amos Garland, at Sandy Ridge and 
was buried on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.  Interment was made at 
the Woomer cemetery.  Mrs. Garland's maiden name was Margaret Woomer, 
daughter of the late William and Anna Woomer of Bald Eagle and a sister 
of Jonathan Woomer, of Tyrone.  Mrs. Garland was an exemplary woman and 
was for many years a member of the United Brethren church.  Her whole 
life was spent in doing good.  She was past 78 years of age.
