  On Monday night Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Garland of Olivia were on their 
way to Philipsburg whither they had been summoned by a telegram stating 
that their daughter, Mrs. Hart, was dying, and when near the Copenhaver 
place, Mrs. Garland was attacked with apoplexy and died instantly, 
while sitting in the buggy.  Mrs. Garland was a sister of Mrs. Matthew 
Long.
