MRS. FRANCESCA GASSENHUBER

Of 716 Grant avenue, widow of Sebastian Gassenhuber, died at the home
of a daughter, Mrs. H. B. Burkhart, 2011 Logan avenue, at 12:45 o'clock
yesterday morning after an extended illness.  She was born on Feb. 3,
1855, in Bavaria, Germany.  Her husband died in 1903.  Surviving are
five sons and two daughters, Charles, Sebastian, John and Edward, all
of Chicago, Mrs. Mary T. Scheonhofer(?) of Toledo, O., Joseph
Gassenhuber and Mrs. Burkhart of the city, and twenty grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the home.  The funeral will be held Wednesday
morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church. Interment
will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
