Gayman, died at her home, 1003 Twenty-second avenue, on Monday afternoon at 2.10 of pneumonia after an illness of less than a week. She was born Dec. 18, 1890, in Altoona. Her father, F. Howard Kipple, was killed some years ago in an accident. She was brought up in the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Kipple in the Seventh ward. She was united in marriage with Mr. Gayman July 3, 1913. Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Anna Johnston, her grandfather, George H. Kipple, both of Altoona, and the following sisters: Mrs. Arletta Smith of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Frances Bracken of Juniata and Miss Bess Kipple of Altoona. Three half-sisters and a half-brother also survive. Mrs. Gayman was a member of the Fourth Lutheran church and greatly interested in the work of the congregation. She was likewise prominently identified in Red Cross work and took part in the several Liberty loan campaigns in her ward. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon with services at the home at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday Morning, December 18, 1918
