MIGNON GAYMAN Widow of Samuel Thadeus Gayman of 1002 Twenty-third avenue, died at her home at 4.40 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was born in Centre county, on Aug. 11, 1892, the daughter of Curven and Ruse (Witchey) Gearhart, and came to Altoona in 1910. She was married to Mr. Gayman on Dec. 24, 1921. Her husband died on July 12, 1942. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Lorraine, and Rose Elinor, both at home; three brothers, Clarence F. Gearhart of Philipsburg, Alex Gearhart of Philadelphia and Victor P. Gearhart of Altoona; three sisters, Mrs. Robert C. Halfern of Akron, O., Mrs. Lowell F. MacCartney of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Charles Kuhn of New York city. She was a member of the First Methodist church and of the Loyalty Bible class of the church, and of the Altoona chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. GAYMAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Mignon Gearhart Gayman of 1002 Twenty-third avenue, will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. P. R. Shultz. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery. Friends are being received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, February 6, 1946
