MRS. MARY GEARHART

Died at 10 o'clock this morning, at her home, 130 Howard avenue, of
pneumonia.  She was born at Bush Mills, County Antrim, Ireland, January
20, 1834, her maiden name being McCaw.  For over forty years, however,
she has been a resident of Altoona.  On March 10, 1857, she married
Jacob Gearhart, who is a foreman in the upper shops.  The following
children survive: George, of near Duncansville; John F., William C.,
Mrs. Jacob Seegmiller, Harry J., Elmer D., S. Edward, J. Albert and
Frank B., all of Altoona. Deceased was a faithful member of the Fourth
Lutheran church.

FUNERAL NOTICE

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Gearhart will take place on Saturday afternoon
at 3 o'clock.  Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
