MARY E. GEHRDES.

At 5:55 o'clock last evening, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gehrdes died at her
home, 408 Twenty-third street, after a lingering illness of stomach
trouble.  She was born in Lancaster, November 29, 1848, and had been a
resident of this city for the past forty-four years.  In 1876 she was
united in marriage to Frederick E. Gehrdes. who survives with the
following children:  John L., Frederick J., Gertrude M., Edward W.,
Albert F. and Chas. M.  Deceased was a member of the Washington Burial
association.  Arrangements for the funeral are not complete, and will
be announced later.

FUNERAL NOTICES.

The funeral services of the late Mrs. Mary E. Gehrdes of 408 Twenty-
third street, will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at her
late home, followed by interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
