JOHN K. GEIST

Of Alexandria, died at his home at 9.20 o'clock yesterday morning after 
four months' illness. He was born at Martinsburg Aug. 25, 1894, a son 
of Andrew and Annie (Maypes) Geist, and married Mary Cambridge of 
Petersburg on Dec. 22, 1934, at Bedford. Surviving are his wife and the 
following brothers and sisters:  Samuel of Florida, Mrs. Cora Cliber of 
Lakemont, George, Kenneth, Richard and Frank of Hollidaysburg and Mrs. 
Catherine Wagner of Martinsburg. He was a member of the Martinsburg 
Church of God but attended the Alexandria Methodist church, a member of 
the Hartslog Valley grange, the Alexandria Garden club and the 
Bellefonte Plumbers union. Friends will be received at the Grove 
funeral home, Alexandria, after 3.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
