  Abraham Geiswhite, who died at his home in Snyder township on Friday 
morning last and was buried at Bald Eagle on Sunday, was a son-in-law 
of John Woomer of the same township.  Deceased was 47 years and 6 
months old at time of his death.  During the latter part of the war, 
while a lad, he served six months as a soldier though he never was 
enlisted, never received any pay and consequently did not possess a 
discharge.
