JAMES W. GETTLEMAN.

  On Saturday last Mr. James W. Gettleman died at his residence, No. 
2826 Sixth avenue, of typhoid fever.  He was aged 28 years, 4 months 
and 28 days, and leaves a wife and one child.  His parents (who reside 
at Springfield Mines) survive him, as so also four sisters and one 
brother.  The deceased was a member of the Simpson Avenue Methodist 
Episcopal church; also of Cresson council No. 109, Junior Order United 
American Mechanics, and of Bethany Circle No. 20, B. U. (H. F.).  The 
funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Interment 
in Fairview cemetery.
