TYRONE NEWS

  Death claimed Warren Getz of 1336 Bald Eagle avenue at 7 o'clock last 
evening, the cause being pneumonia, which resulted from influenza.  The 
young man was born here on March 8, 1894, and was the son of Moses and 
Mrs. Minnie Getz.  The mother passed away a week ago.  He was married 
about a year ago to Miss Verna Blowers, who survives with a baby but a 
week old.  He also leaves his father and these brothers and sisters: 
Charles U., Alfred, Harry I., Victor and Mrs. Herbert Reed, all of 
Tyrone.  For some time past Mr. Getz had been employed in the Miller 
Brothers grocery store on Tenth street.  The loss of the son and 
brother comes especially hard just now as the mother preceded him into 
the grave but a few days ago and his two brothers, Alfred and Victor, 
are lying critically ill at home with the same malady.  Funeral 
arrangements will be announced today.
