MARY L. GHEER 

  Mary L. Gheer, 89, a guest of Epworth Manor, Tyrone, formerly of 
Tyrone RD2, died Friday morning at Tyrone Hospital.
  She was born December 17, 1916, in Antis Township, a daughter of the 
late William C. and Ida (Yahner) Oswald. She married F. Dean Gheer on 
February 21, 1945 in Bellwood. He died October 31, 1977.
  Mrs. Gheer is survived by sons: Eric E. of Tyrone RD2, Barry J. of 
Webster, NY and Thomas C. of Tipton; a daughter, Paulette A. Davis of 
Tyrone and a granddaughter, Morgann E. Davis.
  She was preceded in death by brothers: Paul, Herman, Eugene and 
Charles Oswald; sisters: Grace Dambeck and Agnes Mathes and a niece, 
Lucille Green.
  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellwood.
  Mrs. Gheer enjoyed painting, hunting and fishing.
  A funeral mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2006 at St. 
Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellwood, by Rev. David H. Roesch.
  At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing. 
  The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. until the 9 a.m. mass on 
Monday at the church.
  Committal will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be made to St. 
Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellwood or a charity of choice.
  Arrangements by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
