Mathea M. Gibson

  Mrs. Mathea M. Gibson, 68, of Morrisons Cove Court, Martinsburg, 
formerly of East Freedom and Brush Run Apartments, Hollidaysburg, died
early Saturday afternoon, March 23, 1996, at Hershey Medical Center.
  She was born April 1, 1927, on the island of Corsica, near France.  
She married Blair W. Gibson Aug. 30, 1947, on Corsica.  He died Aug.
12, 1981.
  Mrs. Gibson attended the East Freedom Chapel and formerly attended 
the Foot of Ten Bible Church, Duncansville RR.
  She was a homemaker.
  Mrs. Gibson enjoyed framing pictures.
  She was formerly active in the national YMCA-YWCA.
  Surviving are several brothers and sisters on Corsica.
  A son, Antoine B., preceded her in death in 1969.
  At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing.
  Arrangements by John C. Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

GIBSON - Services for Mathea M. Gibson of Martinsburg, formerly of East
Freedom and Hollidaysburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at East
Freedom Chapel, by Mr. David Harper, assisted by the Rev. Walter Fry
and the Rev. Glenn Yeckley. Interment at Newry Lutheran Cemetery.
There will be no public viewing. Arrangements by John C. Bolger Funeral
Home, Inc., Martinsburg.  Those who wish may make memorial
contributions to the East Freedom Chapel on account of the Missions
Fund.
