Gill, a former well known employe of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper company, was killed in action in France on October 28th. He was a son of George and Susan Tibbens Gill and was born at Martha Furnace on April 4, 1887. He was united in marriage on January 19, 1909 with Cora Ghener. She preceded him to the grave in 1912. He leaves two children: Lewis and Thelma; also these brothers and sisters: John, Edward, Thomas and Minnie, all at home, Mrs. Laura Myers and Mrs. May Myers of Philipsburg, Pa.
