Tuckahoe st., Bellwood, died unexpectedly Wednesday at 1:52 a.m. at the Altoona Hospital. He was born July 23, 1926, at Altoona, a son of Roy W. and Clara B. Cogan Gingery. On Dec. 13, 1951, at Altoona, he was married to Lois May Colyer. He is survived by his wife; one son and three daughters: Lee E., Mrs. Bonnie Park, Mrs. Linda Green and Mrs. Joanne Messner, all of Bellwood; eight grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Clara E. Gingery of Juniata; and eight sisters and brothers: Lynn Gingery, Paul Gingery, Irene Gingery and Mrs. Madeline Nail, all of Juniata; Mrs. Dima Wenerick, of Altoona; Ken Gingery of Baltimore, Md.; Merrill Gingery of North Canton, Ohio; and Russell Gingery, of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Bellwood Church of the Brethren and the Bellwood United Veterans Organization. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific theatre. He has been employed as an engineer on the Middle Division of Conrail for 28 years. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Charles W. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, with the Rev. John Rabenstein officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
