All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ MISS KATHARINE GINGRICH Miss Katharine Gingrich, passed away at the residence of her niece, Mrs. Sarah McLanahan, 1112 Logan avenue, yesterday at 1:45 p.m. Miss Gingrich has been in failing health for some time, but only took seriously ill on Sunday. The deceased was a daughter of Joseph and Sarah Gingrich who were long residents of Stormstown. She was born September 24, 1840, and resided for many years in Tyrone with her brother, the late Rudolph Gingrich, and after his death she lived with her nieces and nephews at Martha, until a year and a half ago when she returned to Tyrone and remained with Mr. McLanahan. Of her immediate family only one brother survives, David Gingrich, of Winston, Missouri. Her nieces and nephews in Tyrone are Mrs. Sarah McLanahan, Miss Mollie Gingrich, Ogle and Joseph G.
