Ginter, of Springfield Mines, on Saturday last went to the house of his son, a short distance from his own residence, and drank two glasses of cider. His son was in the act of handing him a third glass when he fell over apparently asleep. His son thinking that he had only been overcome by the liquor did not pay much attention, and let him sleep until Sunday evening, when he became alarmed. Dr. Brown was then called in and an endeavor was made to arouse him but without avail, and on Monday evening he died, without having recovered speech or sensibility. He was about 55 years of age.
