Given, died at the home of her son, W. J. Given, 115 East Second avenue, at 1.40 o'clock last night. She was born at Mifflin 73 years ago, and for forty years had been a resident of Altoona. She is survived by two children, Anna M. and W. J. Given. One brother, John Stroupe and two sisters, Mrs. James Cree and Mrs. C. Bell, all of Tyrone also survive. She was a member of the Second Lutheran church and the Ladies Auxiliary O.R.C. Funeral notice later. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, December 5, 1918 FUNERAL NOTICES. Funeral services of Mrs. Sophia Goven [sic] will be held at the home of her son on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, services in charge of Rev. A. J. Rudisill of Beatheny [sic] Lutheran church.
