LEVI GLASGOW

Levi Glasgow, residing at Reightown, near Bellwood, died at Altoona hospital at 12:20 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.  He was born September 29, 1853, in Clearfield county, a son of Joseph and Sarah (McCracken) Glasgow, both deceased.

His wife, Catherine Glasgow, died 12 years ago.  He is survived by five children:  Mrs, John M. Hollen, Bellwood; Mrs. Grant Fletcher, Bellwood; Miss Amanda Glasgow, at home; Mrs. Mearl Russell, Bellwood; and George F. Glasgow, at home. He is also survived by nine grandchilren, 16 great-grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers:  Blair Glasgow, Clearfield;  Joseph Glasgow, Blandsburg; Mrs. Jane McCracken, Clearfield, and Mrs. Tillie Love, Fresno, Calif.

He was a Lutheran by faith.  Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with burial to follow in the Logan valley cemetery.
