GLASS, An employe of the Pennsylvania railroad in this city, died at noon yesterday at his home, 328 Fifth avenue, of a complication of diseases. Deceased was born May 3, 1860, at Roaring Spring, his parents, Daniel and Mary Glass, both being deceased. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nettie Dilling Glass, and a niece, Armetta Sell; also by two brothers, M. H. and L. H. Glass, and four sisters, Mrs. J. C. Detrow, Mrs. G. L. Adams, Mrs. W. H. Helley and Mrs. Calvin Stouch, all of Altoona. He was a member of the First Church of the Brethren for the past twenty years. Funeral services will be held from the church of which the deceased was a member at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, with the pastor, Rev. Walter S. Long, assisted by Rev. B.F. Waltz, officiating. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Friends are asked to please omit flowers. Altoona Mirror, June 2, 1923
