MRS. DANIEL GLASS
Marriage of 57 Years Ended by Death of Wife
  
  Mrs. Ella G. Glass, wife of Daniel Glass of 510 21st Ave., died at 
10.05 p.m. yesterday, April 29, 1970, in Altoona Hospital, where she 
was admitted Tuesday, after an extended illness. She and Mr. Glass 
celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last month.
  She was born at Ore Hill Oct. 13, 1888, a daughter of Nelson and 
Catherine (Fickes) Campbell, and married Mr. Glass on March 11, 1913, 
the ceremony being performed in the Christ Reformed Church by the Rev. 
O. F. Finty.
  Surviving are her husband, two children, Mrs. Jean Ritchey of Altoona 
and Robert D. of San Bernardino, Calif.; nine grandchildren, one great-
granddaughter and a brother, Ross of Altoona.
  Mrs. Glass was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church and 
Golden Rule Bible Class.
  Friends will be received in the Axe Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 
9 p.m. tomorrow.
